Storage & Shelf Life

Ponds

PondPerfect, EcoSocks, and Farm Pond Treatment (Combo Packs) do not require refrigeration. Store at room temperature for best results. Avoid storage at prolonged high temperatures above 110°F. A few days does not damage the product, but return to room temperature for storage as soon as possible. Avoid freezing solid. If frozen solid, it distorts the bottle shape, but once thawed, the liquid product is still good and active, and the powdered EcoSock in not affected. Shelf life is guaranteed 1 year beyond purchase. 

Aquariums

Avoid freezing conditions, and avoid storage above 100° F for more than a few days for StartSmart, StartSmart Complete, and TLC Optimizer. Always close the cap after each use. No refrigeration is necessary. For best results, store at room temperature with the bottle capped.

For DeChlor and Conditioner should be stored at room temperature, with the cap tightened. Avoid freezing or storage for more than a few days above 110° F.

TLC Products will always provide at least one year of shelf life remaining when you purchase Aquariums Products through the online store. The expiration date is found on each container of StartSmart, StartSmart Complete, TLC Optimizer, and DeChlor & Conditioner.

Fountains

You will always have at least one year of shelf life remaining when you purchase Fountain Perfect through the TLC Products website store. The expiration date is printed on each bottle.

Septic

As with all of TLC Products, there is at least one year of shelf life when you purchase Septic Medic through the TLC Products website store. Please reference the expiration date printed on the bottle.
